Holiday Tennis Camp AAS Sofia

The Tennis Camp will be based at the Anglo-American School of Sofia tennis courts and campus.  We will also be offering great fun options of tennis, outdoor activities, and picnics for campers. The Camp will be taught and directed by ASM Director Christian Moulin with multilingual coaches.  Program activities include tennis instruction, on-court demos and drills, indoor activities/outdoor activities, competitive matches with prizes, tennis-oriented on-court games, written evaluations for each camper, and an award ceremony.  ASM Tennis Camps have run camps in multiple American and International Schools including American School of Paris, International School of Lausanne, Anglo-American School of Moscow, and International School of Prague.   

ASM Tennis Founder and Camp Director Christian Moulin brings over 20 years experience providing tennis programs and camps and working with beginners through professional players in Europe and USA. Our camp provides young athletes with an opportunity to develop and enhance their tennis skills in a fun positive atmosphere.  Camp is designed for both boys and girls ages 5-16, beginners through intermediate-advanced level players.

 Tennis camp:

Dates: October Break camp (October 9-13)
Time: 9:30 – 15:0

Ages:     5-16 years of age

Cost: Early bird registration (before or on September 22, 2023): 685 lev or 350 euro/week. After June 25:  751 lev or 385 euro. 

What to bring/wear: tennis appropriate attire (tennis shoes, sport clothing), age-appropriate tennis racket, water bottle, sunscreen, snack, lunch.

Time: 8:00 – 19:00

Adults and Junior all ages/All levels

  • COURT SIZE: 10.97m


    At this stage players will learn the basics of the game - How to score, rally, and serve, as well as understanding how to win and lose points. Advanced red ball players will begin to learn technical awareness and court tactics. Red ball players at this level are able to begin matches on the smaller court sizes.

  • Orange Ball Court Size: 18.28m


    At this stage, players have already learned the basic techniques of the game and are ready to develop more consistency and specific technique in their stokes. With developments in physical control and coordination, players will be challenged to cover the larger court size and to direct the ball away from the opponent. More focus will be placed on learning the tactics of the game, anticipating ball movements, and incorporating ball spin. Serving and return of serve are covered at a more advanced level.

  • COURT SIZE: 23.77m (Full Length)


    At this stage, players will be getting used to the increased physical demands of covering a full-sized court while still using slower moving green balls. Players will be instructed in more advanced use of angles, spin, depth control, attacking and defending, and moving the opponent around the court. Additionally, the player will learn the tactic of learning to gauge the opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
